Haiti Outreach

Bringing hope to communities in Haiti.

Since 2011, we have packaged over 1.6 Million Kids Against Hunger meals.  Over 750,000 of those meals have been shipped to Haiti.  We have been able to transport our packaged food to Haiti by using the Air National Guard’s Denton Shipping Program.

Our support for Haiti started in 2011 by supporting the work of Emory and Mary Wilson.   The couple’s work with Christian Light Ministries included the building of the Jubilee Kids School. They have seen significant progress since 2011.  Enrollment at the local school has grown to over 120 children. These children live and thrive eating our donated Kids Against Hunger food.

Our efforts haven’t been solely dedicated to providing food.  We’ve also supported efforts like a new well for drinking water and a solar-powered generator.

Manzanita Outreach also supports the work of Beaver and Kathy Brooks of Much Ministries.

Their work includes Market Place Gonaives with includes the city’s first grocery store; Klinic Jubilee whose mission is focused on primary care, preventative care, and health promotion; and 2nd Story Goods,  a business enterprise whose goal is to see individuals and families thrive by the work of their hands!
